Despite the overwhelming amount of tourists from Providence and Jersey, we still found some charm in Newport over Memorial Day weekend. Bri surprised me with a trip to the quaint oceanside town, our first get-a-way together. We stayed in a bed 'n breakfast downtown and enjoyed dinner and drinks at the pier restaurants every night. I've alway pictured Newport being a ritzy classy town but was taken by much surprise when there were meatheads and trash-cougs every where we turned. The puerto rican rap blasting at the beach was also a little off but we still had fun together, as we always do...
