I love the photos, styling and inspiration I absorb from fashion bloggers but I'm not really sure why they actually write. The showcase of interesting combinations of extrordinary pieces and the "how to DIY" should be good enough. After all, "a picture is worth a thousand words" right? The only blogette who has something interesting to say is Tavi Gevinson. The little dweeby babette is hilariously charming and unique. Anyone can wear black on black and lots of rings (Rumi - I still love her) or pose pathetically like the chick from SR783 (I like the photos you post but c'mon) or have someone photograph you in whatever you felt like wearing (even if its not agreeable...Karla's Closet) but Tavi is one unique little creature.
